If I remove Meta+E global shortcut for dolphin in settings, then, after reboot, it is back, and there are two dolphins present in the settings.

I cannot reproduce. Which distribution are you using?

Does the same issue appear if you try with a new user?

I presume you're clicking on the trashcan icon in the list item for Dolphin, rather than unchecking the checkbox next to its shortcut, right? If so, this is the same issue as Bug 486456.

No, I uncheck the checkbox. See the new screenshots for the repro

NixOS, with this config specifically https://github.com/matklad/config/blob/30c657cfbb59b9f0266a38ff78535d39b726172e/flake.nix

Yes, it does reproduce for a fresh user. I also use the same nixos config on two different machines, and they both have the issue

Thanks. In that case I was wrong and instead it's Bug 483115.

Is there any workaround here? For the past few weeks, my daily routine now includes "go to settings and remove dolphin", as Meta+E conflicts with one of my personal shortcut :)
