Description myusualnickname@gmail.com 2024-05-07 06:46:00 UTC
I have the latest neon testing, and I wanted to know if I am using plasma 6.1 or 6.0x, or 6.2

I have no idea.

I just filed bugs saying I was using 6.04.

I went to the help section, and normally I expect to see version information there. i am not finding version information anywhere, and I would want a user to be able to discover this information for troubleshooting.

That information is in Info Centre (Application Launcher=>System=>Info Centre)

For as long as I remember, every single application I go to help, about, and see version numbers.

Then can we have a link to the info center?

What is the point of Help: About, it doesn't day anything helpful.

Help->About reports the version of the application, which is khelpcenter itself. khelpcenter is not part of Plasma.

Plasma details are reported by System Settings too, which includes the basic information panel of Info Center (kinfocenter)
