I believe the feature you want is already present. If you go to Settings - Configure Dolphin - View On the General tab, uncheck "Rename single items inline" Does this do what you want? ๐๐งน โ ๏ธ This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. If you go to > Settings - Configure Dolphin - View > On the General tab, uncheck "Rename single items inline" > > Does this do what you want? Whilst it does disable rename by accidental clicks, it shows a separate pop-up dialogue box, instead of the inline editing, when I actually want to rename the file by pressing F2, which is not what I want. But, I think the convenience of not getting accidental renaming weighs more than the inconvenience of using a pop-up dialogue for renaming, so I think I can use this. I'm glad to hear you found something that will work for you :) |
