Came here to report the same thing. My use case is that I want to monitor a long-running process by glancing at the screen, without the screen turning off. But if I manually lock the session, I *would* like the screen to turn off after a short while. I am using Plasma 6.1.4 and the above instructions are now: STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Go to System Settings -> Power Management 2. Go to any power profile 3. Set "Turn off screen" to Never OBSERVED RESULT "When locked" dropdown is disabled EXPECTED RESULT "When locked" dropdown should not be disabled |
