STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  open kcm_pulseaudio
2.  in Playback Devices > Line Out,  change Profile to Analog Stereo Input

OBSERVED RESULT
The Line Out becomes inactive.
If you show inactive devices it will display, but without the Port and Profile dropdowns.

EXPECTED RESULT
The Profile dropdowns still display to allow to change the profile.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
To change it back, you can use the cmd:  `pactl set-card-profile  CARD PROFILE`

Thank you for the bug report, and I'm sorry we weren't able to look into it yet. I can't reproduce this with my audio hardware, and a lot has changed since the issue was was reported; can I ask you to see if this is still an issue with Plasma 6.4 or later, and also presumably newer versions of PulseAudio, PipeWire, Wireplumber, etc?? Thanks a lot!
