STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  Install build FP5.TT4C.A.154.20240320 from https://fairphone-android-builds.ams3.digitaloceanspaces.com/FP5/A13/FP5-TT4C-factory.zip
2.  Install https://cdn.kde.org/android/stable-releases/fdroid/repo/neochat-app-arm64-v8a.apk
3.  Attempt to invoke NeoChat.

OBSERVED RESULT
It crashes.

EXPECTED RESULT
It shouldn't.

What version do you refer to? I ask because 23.08.5 (which is the latest release offered via https://cdn.kde.org/android/stable-releases/fdroid/repo/neochat-app-arm64-v8a.apk) from https://community.kde.org/index.php?title=Android/F-Droid&oldid=100376#KDE_F-Droid_Release_Repository, still exhibits this.

Considering that `adb logcat --buffer=crash` doesn't report anything when it closes, this doesn't appear to be a crash. Rather, it immediately closes.

Closing as 23.08 is completely unsupported, only >24.12 works on Android currently. I'm looking into changing the version on stable f-droid to something workable.

Thanks. Would you try to notify here when you've done so? I have been checking every few months for an update so I can close this, but it's always been the same thus far.

You can subscribe when https://invent.kde.org/sysadmin/ci-utilities/-/merge_requests/396 is merged, then it should show in the f-droid repository at some point. I'll try to remember to test it when it hits
