I just put my system to ram sleep without turning off the monitor this time. when I woke up the system, I had the same problem with the same monitor. However this time it didn't come out of sleep so I had to press the power button to toggle it off then on. In the previous comment, when the system woke from ram sleep, the other monitor light turn from amber (sleep) to green (wake), however the screen was black as if still sleeping. Another update, my 2nd monitor now keeps turning black, the power light is green so its actually on and no in sleep mode. This seems to be happening only when coming out of sleep mode, either Linux or using the power button on the monitor to turn it off for a little while when PC is locked. Here is a video showing the bug: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_ouimMQVvY Closing this issue, seems like my monitor has the problem, got a duplicate monitor and it's working fine with the same cable. |
