After starting the ImportWizard (Klarälvdalens Datakonsult) in kmail to import a kmail archive file (4.9 GB), the import process appears to run smoothly. After about an hour, the progress bar shows that just over 60% of the archive file has been imported. Suddenly the ImportWizard window disappears and KDE reports that Akonadi has crashed.

The reporter is unsure if this crash is reproducible.
