SUMMARY

Computer-vision stopped working properly mid-April 2024. A list of taxa based on the first photo is not suggested anymore. Instead, an icon is shown with no name along with an error message "invalid name" in the following row.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Export one or more photos to iNaturalist. 

2. Login to an iNaturalist account.

3. Under "Observation" place the cursor in field "Enter your identification here; it is required.", type a blank and wait for a few seconds.

OBSERVED RESULT

The first row of the results shows a picture of a taxon without a name or additional info. The second rtow shows the error message "invalid name".

EXPECTED RESULT

Multiple rows of results each consisting of a picture and scientific and common names are expected.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
This issue is not version-specific; the response returned from an iNaturalist API call has changed.
