Yes, that is the current behavior! As a fellow user of Immersed and Virtual Screens, I find it sad to say that gnome is ahead of the game in this feature and dbus QoL implementation for screencast. I'm guiding another Immersed user with more time to code a proper way to change this resolution using a dbus option on the screencast Start method. He has been able to change the resolution by reading a config file, but in his test, he is having difficulty receiving the correct options map. We are trying to figure out what the problem is with the options in our bus call. But if everything goes right, it can be a nice contribution to the KDE repository. |
