SUMMARY
Akregator 5* had a fine AdBlock plugin. By using its custom filters I was able to filter out images from misbehaving feeds (i.e. large images taking a lot of space in viewer). But this plugin was removed from Akgregator 6. It would be great to have it back!

We have it but it depends agaisnt rust
=> your distro must build against it.
