*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 471279 *** (In reply to mydarkstar from comment #3) > > *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 471279 *** Ummm ... they are actually two different bugs in this report. One is about dragging kind of becoming inactive after a first drag to Firefox, one is about crashing when crossing the path when dragging a file. The first bug is bug 483645. The second bug is bug 471279. I apologize! It indeed seems more plausible that the freezing part is related to bug 483645, from March. ("Drag and drop files to web browser only work for the first file") Would you prefer to mark it as a duplicate for that bug instead? As for the crash, Michał and I have commented on bug 471279 that it likely seems to be identical. (In reply to mydarkstar from comment #5) > I apologize! Ok. I don't care to what bug it is attached. I don't know what is the procedure in this situation. But I wanted the situation (of being two bugs) to be clear. Diliam, I agree, that crashing is a duplicate of 471279 . The second one 483645 also covers part of the issue I experience on a daily basis. My guess is, there is no need for my report to exists if earlier reports are there. Probably, the "3) drag-drop sometimes (sporadically) disables until Dolphin is restarted" is either something new, or a duplicate of some other bug. However, it started happening only recently and not so frequently (yet), so it deserves a separate, clear, focused report, so let's forget it here. Reports must be focused on one bug only and the crash is already covered, along with other complaints. Since I am just a user, I ask moderators here to mark my report as a duplicate of those two posts and follow the issues there. Thank you > Probably, the "3) drag-drop sometimes (sporadically) disables until Dolphin is restarted" is either > something new, or a duplicate of some other bug. I'm fairly certain you can edit your own bug reports and even close them, by the way. I now tried to set a more descriptive title and linked the other bug reports. Please open a new report or comment on an existing one, if you find out more about the freezing or drag-and-drop issues! You can tell us about any new related bug reports in this report. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 483645 *** |
