Description Elis 2024-04-15 08:47:47 UTC
SUMMARY

Elisa never plays the next track in playlist/album/artist/etc.
It displays multiple tracks in the playlist area, plays the first track and stops.

The option "Currect: Repeat all tracks in playlist" is enabled. However, the same behavior occurs with any option selected.
Option "Shuffle" any of the two: the behavior is the same.

Music folder (one or both): /home/user/Music (btrfs) or /mnt/Music (etx4).

I uninstalled the application and also removed all of the following files and directories:
$ find ~/ -name *elisa*
/home/user/.local/share/elisa
/home/user/.local/share/elisa/elisaDatabase.db
/home/user/.cache/elisa
/home/user/.config/kde.org/elisa.conf
/home/user/.config/elisarc

Installed from the Discovery (Source: Fedora Linux Repository), the latest available version is 24.02.1-1.fc40.

No effect.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch Eliza;
2. Add tracks to your playlist by clicking the Play icon (triangle) on the folder thumbnail (whether it's Files, Albums, or Artists);
3. Wait until the track ends.

OBSERVED RESULT
The application stops playing.

EXPECTED RESULT
The next track in the playlist to be played.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora Linux 40 KDE Spin
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Qt Version: 6.6.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Wayland.
Kernel is 6.8.4-300.fc40.x86_64, but the behavior is the same as several previous F40 kernels. So this is not a kernel specific issue.
