Suspect this might be a framework or qt bug, please reassign if appropriate.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  Have a few different sessions saved
2.  Enable the Kate Sessions entry in the system tray
3. Click on the system tray entry and move the mouse pointer up and down

OBSERVED RESULT
The item under the mouse pointer is highlighted when going up but disappears altogether when going down

bug 483581 is fixed now that I've got Plasma 6.0.4.  

This bug however persists, so very similar but a separate fix is needed.

Fix highlight not following mouse downwards

Currently the highlighted item follows the pointer only when moving in
the upwards direction.
