SUMMARY
The OSD and Plasma widget has currently no confirmation timer, to avoid setting configurations, who happen to lead into issues. The KScreen KCM has such one, and this proposal is about adding that to the OSD/Plasma widget as well.

I would prefer, that configurations who are known to work, will not be asked for confirmation after the first time.

I believe BUG 484592 could be marked a duplicate of this, since it is solved in a satisfactory manner by this proposal.
