Some recent Plasma update fixed this. |
Created attachment 168194 [details] Screenshot of a Plasma panel staying on top of CS2 SUMMARY Switching applications causes Plasma panel to always show on top of full screen instance of Counter-Strike 2. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open CS2 in full screen or windowed full screen mode 2. Press alt-tab to switch to another window 3. Switch back to the game OBSERVED RESULT Plasma panel stays on top of CS2. EXPECTED RESULT CS2 should take over the entire monitor without Plasma panel staying on top. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Opensuse Tumbleweed (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0 Qt Version: 6.6.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The issue seems to be limited to CS2. The problem was introduced by the Plasma 6 upgrade. The panel hides appropriately when first launching the game and when changing the display settings within the game. I am using two monitors and running a Wayland session. Steam is running as a Flatpak app.
