i  have download  (in the downloadmap )from my bank (abnamro ) an mt940 file wich ends with ******* .sta and 
i want to import this in skrooge . But when skrooge open the downloadfolder ,  the file is not shown . so I cannot select it to  import it in skrooge.

Hi,

Did you try to import the file by using the menu File / Import / Import ... ?
I did it and sta files are well visible.

yes , i did:
file/import/import
and then i choose the download map
but the file is not viseble
