Thank you for the bug report. I'm sorry we weren't able to get to it yet. I was not able to reproduce the problem with Dolphin, compiled from git-master, with wdss installed. I was able to access a Samba share on a Windows 10 machine with Dolphin. Unfortunately, Kubuntu 23.10 reached end of life. If you still see the problem with an up to date version of Kubuntu, I recommend reaching out to Kubuntu support.
