SUMMARY
I tried to do backtrace but could understand instructions.  steps I took in terminal did not work. Bug reporting too complicated for me. The Discover app attempts to start but does not.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. install KDE plasma 6
2. run sudo apt update
3. click on Discover app button in every location of KDE Plasma desktop and click on them

Thank you for the update.  This ticket can be closed.  The next day
everything was working again.  I have no idea what changed.  Thank you
again for the follow up.
