Notice the difference between having a window already miximized and maximizing a window when you can still see the wallpaper; also the difference after switching from "adaptive" to "transparent"

SUMMARY

When a panel's transparency is set to adaptive and it switches between opaque and transparent (by maximizing a window, for example), all effects and animations become noticeably slower during the process.

This doesn't happen when the panel is set to opaque or transparent.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. On X11, set a panel's transparency to "adaptive".
2. Enable window animations such as "lamp".
3. Maximize and restore a window.

OBSERVED RESULT
Animations become noticeably slower.

EXPECTED RESULT
Animations should be as fluid as always.
