I've noticed when I'm creating links to folders that the .desktop file isn't sorted along with the folders. For example folders X, Y, Z, and files 1, 2, 3, will be ordered as expected but a link to folder A will be sorted below Z and above the files. Also the .desktop extension doesn't look great it would be nicer if it was changed to a link icon instead. The link files should be treated as a folder if it links to a folder and sorted accordingly.
