Hi I've tried to duplicate this on my Neon (Plasma 6.0.2) system but failed. Here's what I've tried: Laptop with monitor plugged into my HDMI port. Extend the desktop to both screens Add a new panel to the external monitor so I have a panel on each Configure the Icons-only Taskbar -> Behavior -> Show only tasks -> Tick only "From current session Now I open Firefox and move it between the screens. I only see the Firefox icon on the screen it is on (it dissapears from the other screen when it moves off). I then put my laptop to sleep and re-awake it. I then see the same functionality (i.e. the Firefox icon is only showed on the screen with the Firefox window. Could you please double-check if I am testing this correctly? Thanks, Nick (In reply to Nick from comment #3) > Hi > > I've tried to duplicate this on my Neon (Plasma 6.0.2) system but failed. > Here's what I've tried: > > Laptop with monitor plugged into my HDMI port. > Extend the desktop to both screens > Add a new panel to the external monitor so I have a panel on each > Configure the Icons-only Taskbar -> Behavior -> Show only tasks -> Tick only > "From current session > > Now I open Firefox and move it between the screens. Thanks, Nick Hi, all correct except one thing - From current *screen*, not session ps: on last 5th kde version all was normal Thanks - that was actually a typo on my part - I had definitely configured 'screen' not session, and the problem was not there. However... Since my last test I have unplugged my monitor and sent my laptop to sleep. Now having woken it again and connected the monitor, I can duplicate the issue as described. Might need a bit of further testing to duplicate reliably, but I'm convinced there is a bug there somewhere to be looked at. Marking this as confirmed. Thanks, Nick. I confirm *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 482339 *** |
