By moving a folder and file beyond the right border of my 16:9 screen, the desktop adds a wheel at the bottom and adds more space (very cool btw). However when the folder and files are in that space, i can't move a file (from there) inside a folder (from there).

For some reason I was marked as the assignee. Changed to the same assignee as my other reported bugs.

If you move a file/folder from the extended desktop area into the "normal" area, the same issue also happens.

The actual issue is that when the Desktop area is expanded, no folder/file can go inside any folder, even if they're both in the non-expanded area.

Fixed by Marco Martin with https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-desktop/-/commit/362e4c7027bbf9eee931235d7ec652b6900d0d95 for Plasma 6.3.0!
