Looks like everything got 2x as big when you went from X11 to Wayland. I think this is a one-time thing caused by the transition from Plasma scaling to Qt scaling. But if it happens every time you go from X11 to Wayland, it's probably worth fixing. If you resize your widgets a bit in Wayland, then reboot into X11 and resize them a bit again, and then reboot back into Wayland, has the problem happened again?
