i use debian, i installed krename using the official packaging then i run it

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. put in some search replace
2. for the last one i needed regex so i asked gpt:

3. i tried everything it suggested in the find field like
\[[A-F0-9]+\]
\[[0-9A-F]{8}\]
\[([0-9A-F]{8})\]
even
\[[[:xdigit:]]{8}\]

but whatever i did, it did not remove those part

afterwards i opened the help file
4. Help > KRename Handbook

there i got following page:

If you do not find any documentation on the KDE Documentation site, the application may not have offline documentation. Please report this on the KDE Bug Tracker under the product for the application. 
In case the application does not have offline documentation, you should use the online resources UserBase Documentation and KDE Community Forums to get help. 
For non-KDE applications, please contact the application author to determine whether there should be offline documentation available.

6. i was unable to find anything KRename releated there

OBSERVED RESULT
not working anyhow i can do it (i could only check my doing is correct if there where documentation)

EXPECTED RESULT
it would work with that what gpt3.5 considers als regex
