I want to clarify that folders which have mini-thumbnails don't suffer from this issue.
I confirm this happens to me. Details: - Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20240318 - KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.2 - KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0 - Qt Version: 6.6.2 - Kernel Version: 6.7.9-1-default (64-bit) - Graphics Platform: X11 As the two attachments in this bug report show: The folders have the exact same colour as the selection rectangle, so if the folder didn't change colour the folders would become somewhat invisible. Would this be preferred? I confirm this bug on my configuration SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: Fedora 40 KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.2.0 Qt Version: 6.7.0 Graphics Platform: Wayland Confirmed on EndeavourOS : To be clear, this DOES NOT Happen to other Icon sets, - only Breeze, - it may be an issue specific to that icon set. KDE Plasma Version 6.0.5 KDE Frameworks Version 6.2.0. QT 6.7.1 Graphics : Wayland and X11 I think this is related with contrast settings of the color scheme. I have dynamic wallpapers, and I set color scheme settings to use wallpaper main color, and sometimes icons are not black when color scheme accent is set to certain colors. I have a feeling this change caused it: https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-workspace/-/merge_requests/3710 For some reason we color icons too even they're *not* symbolic. So the bug is somewhere else. As of Plasma 6.2.3 and KDE Frameworks 6.8 this is no longer an issue. |
