SUMMARY



STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. a mail arrives
2. kmail icon appears in the kde systray
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT

click on the kmail icon then kde kontact is not displayed.

EXPECTED RESULT

click on teh kmail icon then kde kontact is displayed

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I must, in kde menu launcher, click on "kontact" to display kde kontact.

same problem with akregator icon.

I made an error.

No problem with akregator icon. Clicking on it opens kontact.

I have the same problem on KDE Neon 6.0.2. Some applications which can be minimized into the system tray work as expected (Strawberry, Ferdium, Krusader, QBitTorrent) but some when are minimized cannot be toggled back on screen (Kontact, Neochat). The only way to show the window is to run them again with KRunner or from launcher.

Reproducible here too since kde 5 -> kde 6 migration

Update: Neochat behavior was fixed (probably with 6.0.2). Kontact icon still doesn't work. I've also tried standalone Kmail and it works fine. So the issue persists just for Kontact.
