This seems to be a 3rd party theme. Does this also happen with the default breeze theme? I checked, it does and also my plasma5 theme wont appear in the global theme configuration setting page, but i can use it. I can duplicate this on the latest Neon / Wayland / Intel graphics. The problem is best seen when the panel is vertical as per the original attached video. If you have the panel floating and then move your mouse close to, but not on top of, the system settings icon, then the tooltip appears. If you then click the left mouse button, technically on the wallpaper, then the system settings launch. I can see how this could be confusing for users, even if probably only a minor issue. Marking this as confirmed for further review if possible. Thanks, Nick. I get the same issue when I hover over a file in Folder View, list mode, for truncated file names. I'm pretty sure I reported this once and it couldn't be reproduce it in Plasma 6, but it seems to be the same bug as here. I can reproduce this in Plasma 6. |
