The order of screens in the Manage Desktops and Panels window is not connected to the actual physical arrangement of your screens. It is simply a linear list of screens. I think you may have been acting under the contrary assumption and thereby creating a problem where there was none. Ultimately it would be best if the arrangement shown in that window did in fact mirror the actual arrangement. For that, see Bug 477122. No. I do know that first monitor in that list is primary, not the one on physical left. And since I have different wallpapers on each monitor it was quite clear that pannel was not on on the screen that it was supposed to be on (middle screen wallpaper matches first in list and it has pannel painted in list but not on monitor. Panel was actually on left most screen which was rightmost in list) That having said this bug seems to have been fixed in last couple updates I have received on endevourOS. |
