When you "remap" the button with xkb options, it's up to each app to apply that option, as the interpretation of physical key presses is done in the app, rather than on some global level. They should all use libkxbcommon to do it, but maybe there's some difference in how the library is used. For Electron/Chromium, reporting the issue to Chromium is probably the best way to get progress on this. On the X11 side I'm not sure how exactly it works, but maybe the people at https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/-/issues do. |
