STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Right-click on a photo in the thumbnail view.

OBSERVED RESULT
Digikam freezes, all processor cores are at 100% utilisation.

EXPECTED RESULT
A menu should actually expand

Linux/KDE Plasma: Debian testing with Cinnamon

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The error occurs with Debian version 8.1.0 as well as with appimage V8.2.0-x86-64.

I think the problem is already fixed in digiKam-8.3.0. Please do not type "exit" in the debugger command, but "bt" for the backtrace we need. Otherwise you can also test the AppImage from here:

I have also just realised that the problem no longer occurs with the weekly version. Do you still need more information?
