Description ProstMeister 2024-03-10 07:53:41 UTC
SUMMARY
***
Icons in the tray area are not using the symbolic counterparts for some indicators (wifi, klipper, etc.). I've read that this is because from Plasma 5.XX to Plasma 6.XX some symbolic icons were renamed, breaking the compatibility with most icon themes except from Breeze and a few other which don't have the tray area iconset at all (such as Magna-Dark).
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Setup a new panel and add the system-tray applet
2. Download tela-circle-blue-dark or any other icon theme such as Flatery-dark or Inverse-blue-dark
3. Apply such theme

OBSERVED RESULT
The tray area icons has some non-monochrome icons

EXPECTED RESULT
All icons must be the symbolic/monochrome ones

3rd-party icon themes need to be updated; compatibility breakage is expected here and was communicated multiple times to theme authors months in advance.
