SUMMARY

Attempting to access to my self-hosted Nextcloud server connects but unable to use because infinity constant ssl certificate message popping up.
***


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open dolphin file manager
2. way#1 -> go to the location bar and add the server address (webdavs://MYUSER@10.0.0.36/nextcloud/remote.php/webdavs/) connects, but infinity loop ssl certificate.
    way#2 -> go to the location bar and add the server address (webdavs://10.0.0.36/nextcloud/remote.php/webdav)  connect, but infinity loop ssl certificate
    way#3 -> go to network in the left pane -> add network folder -> fill the form, connect but infinity loop ssl certificate

You're using webdavs, the s standing for secure.

Did you get a full SSL certificate for the server or is it self-signed?

If it's a proper SSL certificate you need to use the hostname the SSL certificate is for e.g. nextcloud.mydomain.com instead of the internal IP address.
