Do you see the same issue if you search using the default Kickorr widget, or with KRunner (invoked using Alt+Space)? Or is it only here in Kicker? Or is it only here in Kicker? using Alt+Space (KRunner) and searching the same thing (just like in video) it does the same thing. I don't know if it is significant but it seems to act strange when writing first three letters after spacebar. Thanks. |
Created attachment 166633 [details] This video shows an example of the bug. SUMMARY Whenever you try to find long named files on kickoff, it kinda like "twitches" while typing. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Save a lot of files with similar but different names preferably longer for better result. 2. Use application Launcher (kickoff). 3. Use search to search for something that has a long name (deleting already typed search result bit by bit also causes this issue). OBSERVED RESULT Occasionally the search re-filters everything while typing and it does not give a specific result when you type in more text.
