STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  open up Showfoto Version 7.9.0
2.  right click on toolbar settings -> configure toolbar
3.  add "Save As New Version" to current actions. The position doesn't matter. 
4. apply and close

OBSERVED RESULT
The new button never appears on the toolbar. This action succeeds with any other button. I tried a few and  they all worked except "Save As New Version".

EXPECTED RESULT
The new button is available and working at the desired position.

This is not a bug, you cannot add this button because showFoto does not have the versioning function like the Image Editor in digiKam. Since showFoto doesn't work with a database, use "Save As" to do this.

This makes sense. Thanks for the clarification. It's working in digiKams image editor.
