New line in search string

SUMMARY
***
When searching for an app in the full screen app dashboard, pressing Enter after your search string adds a new line to the search string instead of launching the selected app. This did not happen in the last 5.x version of Plasma and only started after an update to 6.0.0.
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Update neon to Plasma 6.0.0
2. Install Application Dashboard widget in your panel
3. Click Application Dashboard widget icon
4. In the full screen dashboard that appears, type the name of a program, e.g. "Konsole" then press Enter
5. A new line is added to your search input so it looks like this

'konsole
'

instead of launching Konsole.

OBSERVED RESULT

A new line is added to your search input, and the application is not launched.

EXPECTED RESULT

The selected application should launch and no new line should be added to the search string.
