Description Tamnac 2024-03-03 21:52:44 UTC
SUMMARY
I'm not sure whether this is a bug or feature request, but essentially if I right click on a device in the tray, I get the ability to open the sms window, however there seems to be no way to do this from within the app itself.

OBSERVED RESULT
SMS functionality only available from tray.

EXPECTED RESULT
SMS functionality available from tray and in app

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 11 23H
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.109
Qt Version: 5.15.10

Just for documentary support, I'm adding this screenshot of the app window. I'll also add a screenshot of the tray menu.

Here is the tray menu.

I agree, it's counterintuitive as UX that we wouldn't see access to the SMS capabilities in the main app window and have to discover for ourselves that the only way to open that functionality is through the tray icon.

BTW, this is having just upgraded through the Downloads page today. Version: 25.04.0, Windows 11 Version 24H2, KDE Frameworks 6.12.0, QT using 6.8.1 and built against 6.8.1.
