Description charlie@binkle.co.uk 2024-03-03 10:09:14 UTC
SUMMARY
On the main website for kde plasma desktop, the floating window icon still shows plasma 5.27 in latest release. Most other sections of the website have been updated accordingly with the 6.0 megarelease.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. navigate to https://kde.org/plasma-desktop/
2. scroll down to the second major element.

OBSERVED RESULT
Under the heading "about plasma 5.27" there is text saying "Latest Release: 5.27"

EXPECTED RESULT
The heading should be "about plasma 6.0" and the text should say "Latest release: 6.0"

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
*** This behavior has been reproduced on two different linux/sway computers and my mobile phone ***
Linux/sway: linux 6.7.6
Firefox: 123.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Many distros (e.g. arch linux/debian stable) are still shipping 5.27, so at the moment it is not a big issue, but after the recent 6.0 release, it seems sensible to update the website to reflect that.

The "see announcements" button in the same element also links back to the same page, but that should be a separate issue.
