SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set your taskbar to floating mode (default on Plasma 6)
2. Open a fullscreen app, or set an app to fullscreen, or minimize/exit a fullscreen app

OBSERVED RESULT
There's a significant lag and choppy animation when taskbar is switching to floating mode/sticked mode

EXPECTED RESULT
Taskbar sticks to bottom/floats without any lag

Likely an NVIDIA driver issue, I suspect.

Is this on X11 or Wayland? Or both?

X11, Wayland not tested. There was no problem before updating to Plasma 6.

Just tested Wayland - no problem.

No problem on Wayland. and as evgeniyharchenko said, this is a new bug after Plasma 6 update.
