SUMMARY
When I try to connect, I get the error (could not connect to server)

And not sure why I'm getting a certificate error, when I didn't get the same thing on the one from Flatpak

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. launch KRDC
2. Attempt to connect to a Windows server via RDP

OBSERVED RESULT
Popup that says "could not connect to the server"

EXPECTED RESULT
For it to connect to the server

Can you try connecting with xfreerdp directly? It seems there's some sort of problem with the connection.

Same here after upgrade:

KRDC: Unable to connect
KRDC: ERRCONNECT_CONNECT_TRANSPORT_FAILED The connection transport layer failed.

xfreerdp connects correctly

I'm only able to connect to machines with domain

sending i.e login@domain.ext@ipofthehost

The only way to connect to hosts without domain is not passing username on the connection.
Copy and paste note working, can't connect drive to remote rdp.

This is fixed by https://invent.kde.org/network/krdc/-/merge_requests/84
Which I backported to the 24.02 branch, regrettably, I couldn't get it in before 24.02.0 was released.

It will be in 24.02.1 so things at least kind of function.
