The pinentry-qt shipped with kde neon is buggy in wayland:

OBSERVED RESULT
dialog is in background

EXPECTED RESULT
dialog is in foreground

pinentry-qt: 1.1.1-1build2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
bug is fixed upstream but not in neon, where wayland is now the default.

Fixed in KDE Neon 24.04
