Installed from:    Unspecified
Compiler:          gcc 2.95 
OS:          LinuxLinuxLinuxLinux

Easy to reproduce

Create a new project. 
Select dialog Add Existing files in project menu
Focus on textedit wodget.
Try to type any key. Kdevelop simples fall with core dump.
If you use just mouse interaction, the problem doesn't happens..

Fixed in Gideon (3.0).
