SUMMARY

In contrast to creating new files or folders via the context menu, creating a link over context menu -> create new to a URL, Application or File or Folder, does not warn the user that it will be hidden.

(There seems also no possibility to display hidden files or folders or links on the desktop. They are only accessible via a file manager such as Dolphin.)

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
