Feel free to reopen but I think this is intentional, can also reproduce on Plasma 5, so should be no regression. The reason there is a grace period when the screenlocker appears because of inactivity is because this could be accidental. If press meta+L you want to lock the screen, so no grace period needed. This is ofcourse subjective, but as far as I can tell it is the same on plasma 5 Oh wow, maybe I just never noticed this. Agreed, this is intentional design and not a regression; I don't see a reason for a grace period when invoked manually - though if you can think of a use case I am open to having my mind changed. :) |
