When I install this it grabbed several other packages and everything works. What seems odd to me is : 1. This happened on 2x different Fedora installs (Fedora XFCE and Fedora LXQT, different release versions). 2. Very odd / unexpected that I install Falkon from Fedora repo and it *not* install qt5-qtwebengine-devtools which is clearly needed. 3. In Fedora package qt5-qtwebengine-devtools should be marked as a dependency so Fedora will install it as well. Perhaps none of these are the concern or responsibility of the Falkon team. Yes, this is a responsibility of Fedora maintainers.
Also, the next Falkon version 24.02 is Qt6 only so you will need to install the devtools for Qt6 after you update (if nothing changes on Fedora aside).

When I run Falkon from the CLI this is the output that happens with the error. js: Uncaught ReferenceError: Components is not defined [15261:15261:0220/235200.401700:ERROR:CONSOLE(1)] "Uncaught ReferenceError: Components is not defined", source: chrome-error://chromewebdata/ (1) *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open any web page 2. Press F12 OBSERVED RESULT Devtools pops up but with the Chrome error page: This site can’t be reached The webpage at devtools://devtools/bundled/inspector.html might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. ERR_FAILED EXPECTED RESULT Normal chrome devtools window. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Linux fedora 6.5.6-300.fc39.x86_64 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: QtWebEngine version 5.15.12 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This happened on a fresh install of Fedora 39 LXQT and a different install of Fedora on a prev version. Both times I am installing falking from the repository.
