I agree. The situation that I find confusing is when I print out a slide presentation using 2 by 2 pages per sheet. The default Page Order is 'Left to Right, Top to Bottom'. However, the Page Order seems not to take account of the Orientation, and presumes the Orientation is Portrait. As a result, the page order with respect to the landscape orientation comes out as 'Bottom to Top, Left to Right'. |
Created attachment 165882 [details] Result SITUATION I wanted to print a portrait A4 document with two pages as two pages per sheet so the whole document would fit on one one-sided sheet of paper. SUMMARY I selected page layout -> pages per sheet -> 2 (2x1). The preview then shows two landscaped pages on top of each other on one portrait sheet. This confused me, so I selected landscape but then the print came out as two portrait pages above each other on a portrait sheet. The original setting, (attached) however, gave me the desired result.
