So every time when I edit a message, if I need to change the keyboard layout, the carriage moves to the end of the "Send a message..." field, and it's annoying. In older versions of NeoChat (in KDE Plasma 5) the carriage moved to the end even if I was typing a new message. 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start editing an existing message
2. Change the keyboard layout

I can't reproduce this. are you on wayland or x11?
