Were you on X11 in Plasma 5, and then upgrading to Plasma 6 got you the Wayland session by default? Especially if you use any screen scaling? If so, that probably explains it, as the settings are different and sensitivity is scaled on Wayland (as it always should have been) but not on X11, which was always a bug. I believe I am using scaling? I'm at a different PC and can't check. At least my resolution was 2560x1440 so presumably yes. I think that explains what happened. Cool, I had a feeling. In that case the bug you've been living with (and working around by setting the sensitivity really high) all these years has been fixed, so you don't need to use that workaround anymore! |
