Description bruno 2024-02-08 19:55:51 UTC
SUMMARY
after setting up neon unstable in as a virtualbox vm, I can't log into users from sddm by typing in the password and pressing enter. I have to specifically press the ">" button next to it which differs in behavior from older plasma versions and also gets a bit annoying over time. the enter key otherwise works fine on the machine, and it can be used to log in if logging in from a lock screen, but not from the login screen (sddm).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. boot up an installed copy of the latest kde neon unstable
2. type in the user password on the login screen
3. press enter

OBSERVED RESULT
nothing happens

EXPECTED RESULT
user is logged in and plasma is started
