SUMMARY *** Replicated this exact same behaviour on my Dell XPS 13 9365 laptop. *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use the neon-user-20240307-0714.iso image. 2. Under "Partitions", choose "Erase disk" 3. Check "Encrypt system" and input your password. 4. Proceed to add user information and then complete the installation. 5. Reboot when prompted and observe the "maximum number of tries exceeded" message. 6. You will be placed into the BusyBox initramfs prompt. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - N/A could you please try again, this was fixed three weeks ago. would be very happy to have confirmation I confirm. Issue resolved Thank you kindly to yourself and your team Carlos and I can also confirm after following the same steps previously with the latest neon-user-20240404-0714 ISO, I can successfully log in after entering my passphrase. |
